Fern Cottage is a quaint 18th Century Lakeland Cottage in a quiet yard off the Square in the Village centre. It was once the police house, but now the old lock-up and office is a spacious kitchen/dining area.
A twisting staircase leads from a cosy sitting room with open fire to two double en-suite bedrooms, each with colour TV.
Heating is by night storage heaters and we provide coal & logs for the fire. There is a fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
Parking is available in the 'Pay and Display' Car Park nearby, using our free permit.

We recommend individuals make arrangements for personal travel insurance to cover financial losses in the
event of a cancellation as deposits are non-refundable
Dogs are welcome in all properties

Up to two complimentary parking permits for the village Pay & Display car park are available for Fern Cottage &
Flag Cottage, please collect these from The Kings Arms on arrival in Hawkshead
